First Aid & CPR Cuba

First aid and CPR training is regulated by law in Cuba. Whether you are an employer, a childcare provider, or an individual who wants to be prepared, this section outlines the legal framework that applies to your region so you can make informed decisions about your training.

Workplace first aid requirements

In Cuba, workplace first aid is governed by Labor Code (Law No. 116 of 2013) and its Regulation (Decree No. 326 of 2014), building on the historic Law No. 13 of 1977 on Labor Protection and Hygiene, administered by Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS). Employers must ensure a trained first aider is available at all times.
